Shawn Fischer
Owner, Winemaker
Shawn retired from law enforcement in 2021, and is finding plenty to do in the running of the vineyard. When he is not tending the wines and vines, Shawn is building instruments (guitars, mandolins, etc), clearing forest for new plantings, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Lisa Fischer
Owner, Quality Control
Lisa is the matriarch of Abundancia. Her full time job in healthcare keeps her busy, but with her spare time she lovingly cares for the all of the plants on site, often with her 17 chickens in tow.
Anthony Monteleone
Business Manager
Anthony married into the Abundancia family in 2012, and has been helping carry out the Abundancia vision since its beginning. Anthony is an avid cyclist, and can often be found exploring remote gravel roads in the Chehalem Mountains and the Coastal Range near the vineyard. His skills in business and communication come in handy in his work with Abundancia.
Peter Kimball
Enologist, Assistant to the Winemaker
Peter, originally from New Hampshire, married into the Abundancia family in 2015 and moved to Oregon with his wife in 2019. In his "day job" he works as a high school chemistry and physics teacher. In his spare time, particularly during the summer, he works to protect the wine in all of its stages. His background in chemistry comes in handy!
